I've finally (school & family) gotten the photos of our Table Mountain hike into a photo journal (link above). I'll be back to update this post and turn it into a wealth of geologic information soon. But here are the basics. The hike is 2 miles round trip, gains about 600' of elevation and this winter's rains have made the plateau come to life. Not bad for being only 55 minutes away from Turlock.

Our cabin in Twain Harte received an unusually cold storm that dumped 8 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. We had to have Zephyr inspect the snow to make sure it was suitable for sledding fun! As you'll see here, he gave his full approval.
