Burst Rock Hike 9/16

Hike Distance: ~4.5 miles round trip
Weather Forecast: Sunny with a high temperature of 55 degrees (very cool!)
Things to wear and bring:

Comfortable running/walking sh
Good socks.
Athletic pants or shorts if you have them.
Comfortable shirt for being active.
A jacket or sweatshirt and maybe a long sleeve shirt too.
Hat
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Camera / Phone & PROTECTIVE CASE.
BACKPACK!!
Two bottles of water or gatorade. You need at least 1.5 liters of liquid.
Handkerchief for lunch.
Any snacks you want.

Things WildLink Club Will Bring

Lunch & Bags
Bread, Turkey, Ham, (lettuce, mayo, mustard, sriracha), Hummus, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Chips, Animal Crackers, Goldfish Crackers, Trail Mix, Fruit Snacks, Apples, Granola Bars

Itinerary

EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE YOU COME OR BRING A SNACK
7:15am: Meet at the District Office driveway by the fountain.
Introductions & leave by 7:30am
Make a quick potty stop in Sonora at McDonalds (10 minutes!)
Arrive at Trailhead about 10am.
Wilderness Ethics talk
Lunch-making procedures
Make Lunch
Head-out on trail by 10:30 or so.
Lunch at around 12:00 pm on Burst Rock Ridge
Head back to cars around 1:00pm
Back at cars by 2:30pm
Head for home. Arrive about 5:30pm.
