This was my 3rd attempt at building a substantial bottle rocket launcher to use in my science classes. Thanks to the new Common Core and NGSS standards I have a feeling teachers will be able to find even more time to dedicate to the engineering of 2-liter bottle rockets while exploring physics, pressures and atmospheric processes. It's been about 8 years since I've built this launcher and it still works great. Even the original o-rings are intact. I don't have a price-list handy, but I suspect that the launcher will cost less than $40 if you had to buy everything. If you're like me, you just might have enough scrap lying around the yard to build it with that.
