20 Lakes Basin for our 20th Anniversary Weekend

Laura and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary weekend by heading over to Lee Vining and spending a few days exploring the 20 Lakes Basin and Mono Lake all by ourselves! (Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa H for watching Z and Jasper).  Laura was able to watercolor near Greenstone Lake while I went off to explore Conness Lakes and take a gander at the remnants of Conness Glaciers.  I had never been to the lakes and I wanted to see both the rocks and try to fish for California's state fish: the golden trout. It took some time, but I eventually found where the golden trout were hanging out and what they wanted to bite. I mostly ran out of time because my cross-country hike to the lakes took me across so many rocks to look at, including one of the most bonkers rocks I've ever seen.   Enjoy the cloudscapes and pretty water in the photo gallery!
